BJ Nilsen at the Touch25 Festival at The Bedford Arms, Balham. Nipped down to London with my mate Kenny to check this out. I didn't know much about it to be honest, but it was pretty special.
Nilsen and Chris Watson did a live performance of Storm, which is actually a recording of a storm, that started over Nothumbria in the UK, crossed The North Sea and ended up in Sweden.
Watson, who is quite often the sound recordist for David Attenborough, recorded the storm as it kicked off near his home on the Northumbrian coast, then across The North Sea, where Nilsen picked it up near his home.
I know it all sounds a bit wank, but it was a trully special experience to be there to hear it. Fabulous.
